GotUr6.org Unveils “The Guardian 6” — A Mission-Built Ford Bronco Honoring First Responders and Their Families

Glasgow, KY —20 AUG 2025— GotUr6.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting critically injured first responders and the families of fallen heroes, is proud to introduce The Guardian 6, a custom Ford Bronco that serves as a mobile platform for awareness, outreach, and remembrance.

Founded in 2016 by John Dove, a U.S. Air Force veteran and medically retired police officer, GotUr6.org exists to ensure that injured heroes and the families of the fallen are never forgotten. After the headlines fade and the initial outpouring of support wanes, many families are left to navigate hardship and grief alone. GotUr6 steps in with urgent, compassionate assistance tailored to the unique needs of each hero’s family.

“Your support gives more than money — it gives hope, dignity, and the reassurance that these heroes and their families are not forgotten,” said Dove. “The Guardian 6 brings that mission to life, one mile at a time.”

The Guardian 6: A Rolling Tribute and Call to Action

More than just a vehicle, The Guardian 6 is a symbol of remembrance and resilience. Outfitted with donated and discounted parts, this Bronco will travel to over 15 major events across the eastern U.S. in 2025, serving as a conversation starter, photo backdrop, and visual reminder of the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and military service members.

Named to reflect both the military phrase “Got your six” and the role of first responders as guardians of our communities, The Guardian 6 stands as a powerful representation of the ongoing support GotUr6 provides long after a tragedy has occurred.

How Businesses Can Help

GotUr6 is currently seeking partners to help complete the build of The Guardian 6 through in-kind donations or discounted parts. In return, participating businesses will receive:

  • Prominent logo placement on the Bronco and event signage

  • Recognition through installation videos and social media posts

  • Exposure to thousands of event attendees and online followers

  • The opportunity to stand behind a cause that directly supports hero families in need

Importantly, no foundation funds will be used to purchase the vehicle parts; all expenses related to the build are covered personally by the founder, ensuring that every donor dollar continues to go directly to families in crisis.

“Behind every donation is a life touched, a burden lifted, and a message made loud and clear: we’ve got their six,” Dove added.
